What is Two-Way Active Humidity Control?
It is a control approach that can respond to high and low humidity. When the cabinet is too humid, applicable models work to remove moisture. When it is too dry, applicable models add moisture toward your selected target.
How is it different from a normal dry cabinet?
A conventional dry cabinet only removes moisture, so it can over-dry wooden instruments. Active control is designed for items that dislike both extremes.
Can I set the humidity myself?
Applicable models allow you to select a target. The interface and the adjustable range depend on the model.
Does the cabinet control temperature?
The cabinet is designed around humidity. Where a temperature reading is shown it is for monitoring. Keep the cabinet away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

Which instruments can I store?
Guitars, ukuleles, violins, violas, cellos, pipa and other string instruments, as well as woodwind instruments and accessories. Electronic dry cabinets are available for cameras, optics and electronics.
Which humidity should I choose?
Follow the instrument maker's guidance. Wood instruments are commonly kept in a mid-range around 40–55% RH. See the Humidity Guide for details.
How long does it take to stabilise a new cabinet?
Allow time for the interior to settle before you load instruments, and allow instruments that have lived in a very different environment to acclimate gradually.
Does it make noise?
